Local officials attended a Monday ceremony for a new mural in downtown Sacramento, which focuses on the 150th anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad.
The mural by local artist Maren Conrad features workers who built the railroad system, including Chinese immigrants. The mural is on the Elks Tower, at the corner of 11th and J streets in downtown Sacramento.
